Introducing Dr. Benjamin Foreman

We are proud to announce the addition of Benjamin Foreman, O.D. to our practice.  Dr. Foreman has been living in the greater Philadelphia area since high school. He is the oldest of five children, all of whom reside locally. He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He then went on to earn his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he graduated with high honors. Dr. Foreman is currently a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Pennsylvania Optometric Association (POA), the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

Before joining Clompus, Reto & Halscheid Vision Associates, Dr. Foreman completed clinical rotations at Einstein Medical Center, where he gained experience managing ocular disease and glaucoma, and The Eye Institute’s Pediatric Department, where he became proficient in managing vision and ocular motility issues in children. He also completed a contact lens rotation at a private practice in Philadelphia, where he was introduced to a number of specialty contact lenses. One such specialty is orthokeratology – a corneal reshaping process that reduces nearsightedness – which he has brought to the practice.

Dr. Foreman is married to his wife, Emily, a graduate from Wilkes University. She is currently a pharmacist at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. They have a daughter, Mary, and a son, Luke. When outside of work, Dr. Foreman enjoys being outdoors, playing a variety of sports, and spending time with his family.
