Due to the poor weather, our offices will be closed on Thursday, February 13th. We will be re-opening on Friday with normal business hours in both locations.
Our office has consistently been selected as a clinical host site for Optometric Students during their 3rd and 4th years of education. We are pleased to be hosting new student doctors throughout 2014. Beginning in February, and throughout the Spring months, we will be working with Benjamin Foreman. Ben is a 3rd year student at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Please welcome Ben if you visit our offices this Spring!
Please have a dilated exam this month, do something special for your eyes.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration is a progressive disease of the retina that causes painless loss of central vision. It affects the ability to see fine detail, drive, read and recognize faces.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 1.8 million people have AMD, and another 7.3 million are at substantial risk for vision loss from AMD. With the rapidly aging U.S. population, this number is projected to increase to almost 20 million by the year 2020.
Both the West Chester and Exton offices will be open on Friday for normal hours. Due to ongoing problems with the weather and Comcast, we anticipate the phone lines will continue to be down in Exton. Please contact us at 610-696-1368 for immediate assistance.
Our West Chester office is open today (Thursday). However, due to problems with Comcast, our phone lines are currently not active in West Chester. The power remains out in our Exton location, and that office remains closed today until power can be restored.
Due to the icy weather conditions, our West Chester office has lost power. Unfortunately, we will be closing the office and rescheduling all appointments today. Please remain patient as our staff works to reschedule your appointment as quickly as possible.
Due to the snow and poor road conditions, our offices will be closed today. Both offices will re-open at 12:00pm noon on Tuesday, February 4th.
